The Self acclaimed “Supreme Leader” of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, whom in defense, a few months back, denied being the leader of IPOB in the Court, had purportedly written a letter to order Simon Ekpa to end sit at home in the South East.

The letter which bore so much authority (obviously self given), stated that Simon Ekpa should desist from calling for any Sit At Home and refrain from antagonizing State Governors and persons in political positions.
We all could recall that calling for Sit At Homes, antagonizing State Governors and persons in political positions, including renaming Ohanézè ndị Igbo to Ohanézè ndị oshi and calling Igbo intellectuals, Otellectuals and Efulefus were the things Nnamdi Kanu was known for prior to the proscription of IPOB and his arrest.
However, Simon Ekpa has swiftly responded to the letter and claimed that it was the handiwork of the DSS and that it couldn’t have come from Nnamdi Kanu.

In a tweet where Simon Ekpa referred to himself as the Prime Minister of Biafra, he called on Biafrans to disregard the letter as fake.
Recall that Simon Ekpa first surfaced as just a mere disciple of Nnamdi Kanu. He has risen to the position of Prime Minister without any election, no appointment, no selection, no congress, no meeting, no agreement, no coup. He simply assumed the position unilaterally.
Someday, he might just go ahead and assume the position of Supreme Leader of the organization and claim that Nnamdi Kanu has been compromised.
This reminds us of the line from a poem written by the Irish Poet, W.B Yeats, when he exclaimed that the Falcon can no longer hear the falconer.
The fire that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu started might soon be too big for him to stop.
And like I stated in my previous articles, releasing Nnamdi Kanu will simply signal the beginning of heightened sit at home orders.
When Kanu is finally released, will he be able to stop what he started?
