Most men have openly declared that they do not care if a woman loves them or not. All they care about is if the woman respects them.
So they go about saying that what a man wants is respect not love as a woman cannot truly love a man.
However, I feel there’s a misconception because people who believe this, though not totally wrong, but they failed to acknowledge the differences in the nature of men and women.
Women, by nature, a brutes. They usually have this innate to dominate and intimidate others, hence their usual desire to compete and challenge each other. Their natural understanding of power is when they can use it to subjugate someone.
That’s why both men and women will prefer to work under a male boss than a female boss.
At various homes, it’s usually the madam doing the shouting and beating of the servants than the men.
Men on the other hand are wired to protect and provide. The average feels good if there are people dependent on him that he is catering for.
His ego is inflated if it is said that this or that person is doing well because of him. So, a man has the natural instinct to protect, guide and provide.
A quick test of the above is if you are playing with a woman, and you ask her to feel free to do anything she wants to you. Bet me, she is most likely going to give you a hard knock on your head and laugh about it. It makes her feel good.
Give a man the same opportunity to do anything he wants to woman, he’s most likely going to hug or kiss her.
It’s that way. Nature made it so.
So, for a woman to truly love you, means that she has to drop that brutal nature of hers. She would have to have zero desire to challenge you, zero desire to compete with you and zero desire to bring you under her control.
The evidence of the above paragraph is when she respects you and becomes submissive to you.
Therefore, respect is the evidence that a woman truly loves you. There is nothing like a woman loving you and not respecting you, or a woman respecting you and not loving you.
One is a proof of the presence of the other. Immediately the love starts disappearing, the respect will follow it as well. You can not find a woman who is in love with a man she does not respect.
So, men should not measure the love of a woman using the same metrics used in measuring men’s love.
Women love differently just as men love differently.
Above all, love is a beautiful thing.
