Before now, it sounded like a joke,
Like they couldn’t get their acts together,
Like they couldn’t even put their house in order.
Then the biggest masquerade crossed over to the ADC
On crossover night,
Marking a new beginning, a new year, a new drive, a new momentum,
A spark that could power a new Nigeria.
What followed was a massive influx into the ADC,
A rekindled hope and vision.
On the part of the ruling party,
Tantrums followed.
First, they dismissed it as nothing.
Then they tried to shame Obi for moving from party to party.
Then they downplayed his relevance.
Then they pretended to feel sorry for him, saying he wouldn’t get the ticket.
Then they accused him of accepting a VP slot and betraying the Obidients.
Then they said he had no manifesto.
Then they said he provided no alternative solutions.
Then they said the few ones he mentioned were copy-and-paste.
But after the whirlwind,
After the pacing up and down,
The dust is settling.
Reality has set in.
It is going to be a two-horse race.
Either you are with the APC ruling party,
Or you are with the opposition coalition ADC.
Anything aside from these two
Means you are simply creating awareness,
Preparing to be settled,
Or positioning yourself for post-2027 ambitions.
Because everything leading up to 2027
Will be APC versus ADC
From ward councillorship
To the presidential race.
This is the moment to choose where you belong.
It is a simple decision:
Do you like the way Nigeria has been since 2015 till today?
