Is Gov. Peter Mbah a persistent Liar?
Or is it his Media Team that have adopted lies as a defense mechanism to cover up for his lies?
Certainly, one of the two must be lying
As we set the Agenda for 2027 Election around WATER SUPPLY for Enugu people
By declaring that our Slogan and Mantra for 2027 shall be, GOV. MBAH, WHERE IS THE WATER?
Which we merged into a hashtag #MbahWhereIsTheWater?
The Media Team of Governor Mbah have come up with some well crafted lies
The first Lie was that Gov. Mbah had solved Enugu’s Water Problems and that we are mere mischievous people seeking for attention and political appointments.
That was immediately thrashed as the evidence of water scarcity was too overwhelming.
The second lie was that Peter Mbah had solved the Upstream Sector sector Problem.
Then again, in a video before the 2023 Election, Peter Mbah had stated that there was no problem with the Upstream sector as the water Generation was more than enough.
So all he needed was to simply change the valves, repair and replace old and spoilt pipes and then take water to people’s homes.
He said it while responding to questions on Twitter Space. The Video is attached to this write up
The third Lie that the Governor’s Media Team came up with was that the water Generation capacity was 2 million liters per day, before Mbah came and increased it to 120 million liters.
In two separate video interviews, one with the Choice Flames Newspaper and the other with Arise TV, while taking questions from Rufai Oseni.
Gov. Peter Mbah, a day after getting his Certificate of Return from INEC, stated clear that a combination of the Oji River and Ajali Water Schemes were Generating about 120,000 to 130,000 Cubic Meters of WATER DAILY.
For clarification purposes, 120,000 Cubic Meters, when converted to liters is equal to 120 million liters.
In that interview, He also stated that the Administration of Gov. Ugwuanyi had accessed funds from the French Development Agency (FDA) and had only drawn little from it. Meaning that Ex-Gov. Ugwuanyi had made the funds available.
In that same Interview with Arise TV, he stated that most of the engineering works were done and that the previous Administration had also set up the 9th Mile Water Scheme, which some of us know as the 9th mile crash program.
Gov. Peter Mbah, long long before he assumed office, made it clear that the problem with the Upstream Sector had been solved.
That all he needed to solve now was the Midstream and Downstream Sectors
Which is basically taking water pipes to all the streets in Enugu, and then from the streets to people’s homes.
He promised to do this in 180 days. He also said that the 180 days was a pessimistic view. That is the worst case scenario.
Today is Day 962.
There’s no water in my street here in Maryland.
Same with other parts of Enugu, be it Abakpa, Emene, Agbani Road, Garriki, Achara Layout, Independence Layout, New Layout, Ugwuaji, Monarch, New Haven and New Haven Extension etc
No WATER anywhere.

Or his Media Team have adopted barefaced lie as a technique to defend the failures of his Administration
As someone who was a part of the previous Administration, I know that the second one is true.
Peter Mbah didn’t lie. It’s his Media Team that are using lies to cover his failures.
The fact before us today is that as of January 16th, 2026, Gov. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah has achieved *NOTHING* in the Water Sector in Enugu, despite hundreds of billions spent and out sourcing our job to a white man.
This is the fact that cannot be disputed.
And all we are saying is that if Peter Mbah refuses to give us Water before Election, we will refuse to give him our Votes.
It’s also a beautiful thing that the election will be held at the very heart of the dry season.
So, NO WATER! NO VOTE! will be our chant
While our slogan remains
#MbahWhereIsTheWater?
For a governor that is not wicked and does not enjoy the suffering of Enugu people, one year is more than enough to give all of us water.
We will NEVER STOP talking about Water until Peter Mbah gives us Water or Leaves the Lion Building.
