STABILITY TO DUKE’S LIFE

“…For the first time in many years, I felt stability in my life.

I woke up everyday knowing that there’s always something to eat, where to sleep and where to go.

I was now learning the things of God under Evangelist Nduka Obi.

My life was all about waking up on time, going to the church to arrange everything and make sure things were in their place in preparation for that day’s service or counseling.

During crusades, I handle the printing of fliers, distribution of posters, mounting of billboards, setting up of speakers, etc.

We were the ones that help the man of God do most of the things and keep the church going.

Truly, we had no wages nor salaries but we fed well, except during church fasting periods. We had a house where we lived rent free. Then there were church members that used to give us something once in a while.

For me, in that biting economic hardship, it was a safe haven for me. Also, very soon, I would become a man of God too and command the wealth that Nduka Obi was commanding.

I would be able to typically blow some air into the microphone and people would start falling.

Things were going beautifully well for me in that situation until that faithful afternoon.

My phone rang and it was Mma on the line. Guess what she told me…?
