THE FAMILY DELIVERANCE SCAM

About 10 years ago, a tsunami hit my Community and everywhere was shaking!

There was a spiritualist in town. Some called him MAN OF GOD, others called him MACHA MACHA. Whatever he was called really didn’t matter. What was important was that he had come to liberate my community and set us free.

Each family, kindred or clan would contribute between 500,000 – 3 million Naira, depending on the size of the family, and pay to this man of God.

Then the man of God would visit them, pray for them, reveal those who have been holding the family, clan or kindred down. Reveal where charms were buried or hanged, uproot them, make those responsible to confess.

This caused a tsunami! The entire community was on fire. Each family wanted MACHA MACHA to visit them. Some had to sleep in his house for weeks, others for 2 months, just waiting for their turn for MACHA MACHA to visit them.

Each family visited gave him millions, while he left quarrels as those revealed to be holding others back came under serious attacks.

The high point of it all was that macha macha warned them all that if they dare bring in another charms or juju, they would die immediately.

I didn’t attend any of his deliverance sessions because I was too Catholic to do so. It was a time when I was the Secretary of Urban Council Blockrosary and the President of St. Theresa’s Cathedral Parish Blockrosary, so attending Pentecostal prayer sessions was a sacrilege for me then. We didn’t even call them Pentecostals, we called them Protestants.

At last, my community was free from bondage, generational curses, family bondage and village people wahala, Macha Macha visited at least 90% of the families.

While our people felt a breath of fresh air, Macha Macha left the community with hundreds of millions. It was a mutually beneficial business or so we thought.

I am writing this because I came home for Christmas 10 years later, to see that one of the kindreds that Macha Macha delivered have gone to bring back a deity they burnt and sent packing in the 80s.

They claim that it’s the deity that is fighting against their progress and preventing them from succeeding or killing young men that are prospering.

However, it’s not just them, almost all the families, kindreds and clans that Macha Macha visited are still in penury 10 years after. Several of them have had to bury their bright young men and pointing of fingers at people supposedly killing people and fighting their progress has doubled up.

I am not accusing Macha Macha of carrying out a clean heist on my People(mana o gwuru há chanfa shaa), neither am I saying that there’s no spiritual correlation with what’s happening in some families. No.

Rather, I am saying that my people are not facing the reality that we live in the poverty capital of the world.

That our universities produce half-baked graduates and that there are no factories or industries to employ them because we import 90% of what we consume in the country.

They do not understand that our community is part of a country of 200 million people that does not have even 1 single good hospital that is well equipped to treat a governor, not to talk of the president. So you are likely to die from any simple illness worse than malaria if you can’t afford a trip to India.

That 95% of cars imported into Nigeria are damaged and that road safety goes about with POS to collect bribes increasing the accident rate that had been worsened by bad roads. So your chances of dying from accident is higher than your chances of having a safe journey.

They do not embrace the reality that a notebook that was 20 naira in 2013 is now ₦350. That fuel that was ₦65 in 2010 is now ₦670. That inflation has moved from 9% to over 30%, such that if you were earning ₦50,000 in 2010 and has grown tremendously and now earning ₦300,000, you have become poorer because what 50k used to buy in 2010, 300k can’t buy it in 2023.

So you are going backwards despite your tremendous growth. But somehow, you think your uncle in the village or some innocent Oracle sacked 40 years ago is responsible.

They’re never going to wakeup to these realities and they will keep blaming uncle, Aunty, and deities for their misfortune.

Therefore, I am calling on anyone with Macha Macha abilities to come again, that my community is now ripe again for the harvest of millions. It’s the best Yahoo you can do and go scot-free. No EFCC, no bad blood, no azaman.
