A SPIRITUAL SOLUTION

“…They said Forex trading is 10% strategy and 90% emotional and psychological control.

That was all we were hearing in the event of our misfortune which was never our fault. Other Forex traders started telling us their stories.

They said they had to wait for one year, 2 years, 5 years before becoming profitable and making it.

Some of them told us how they lost over 10,000 dollars in a minute but they kept going. They said there are good days and bad days, and that we should be strong at heart.

A lot of things were racing through my heart. How would we survive for this 2 to 5 years?

Will Mma still wait for me? This one she has turned down 3 suitors already. How many more would she turn down? Until when will she remain an understanding girlfriend?

As if we were both thinking the same thing, Chukwuma turned to me and said, “My woman don give me from now till Easter oh, before she go marry the next available suitor”.

With our arms akimbo, we looked up, looked down, looked left and right and in our innermost minds, we wondered where we wronged God or could this be village people?

Why is it that wherever we put our hands, problems must arise? Emere ya anyị eme ka anyị azọtara ya azọta? Agwọrọ ya agwọ ka ọ bụ Agwụ na akpa anyị?

I wasn’t a particularly spiritual person, neither was Chukwuma, but at this point, we had to put philosophy and psychology aside and seek for a spiritual solution.

If it’s Village people, then we will be delivered. If we have offended God, then we will beg for forgiveness and atone for our sins, and if nothing is the wrong, then we can be blessed for us to start succeeding.

At that time, a certain Evangelist Nduka Obi whose ministry was located in Lagos was reigning. People said he was powerful, holy, Virgin, humble and could see everything that ordinary eyes couldn’t see.

There was no doubt that Nduka Obi was the man for us. We started making plans to visit him. Ije ego siri ike.
