“…Thanks to heartbreak, I was able to graduate with a CGPA of 3.5, giving me Second Class, Upper Division.
Because of my condition, I avoided all sign out parties, graduation parties, dinner and award nights. I quietly went home after the exams. I didn’t want to have anything to do with that school again.
I was extremely excited when my name came out in the Senate list and finally, I had to do my clearance and go for NYSC.
The people at the student affairs stressed the hell out of my life but I took it all in with joy and excitement.
I registered for NYSC and was eagerly looking forward to a whole new experience, make I forget wetin university do me quick quick.
However, there was another issue at hand, which State will I choose?
Definitely not the North because I don’t want the powerful trio of Boko Haram, Fulani Herdsmen and Bandits to lay their hands on me.
Most people wanted Lagos and Abuja as they all felt that it’s easier to get a job in those places after service.
Me, I just wanted to leave Nsukka environment and forget everything about the University, Amaka, Damzy, Ejike, Jeff, Kendo and his cult gang, combined social sciences, everything.
I wanted a fresh start. However, it had been said that they usually post people against their wishes to Northern States and I needed to avoid it.
I contracted the services of some NYSC relocation plugs that would help me work my relocation to any of the Southern States.
They collected 30k from me and I was all set to go.
Call up letter was expected to be out in a week’s time but I had already arranged everything in preparation to disappear from this Amaka and Ejike infested Nsukka.
But it seemed Amaka wasn’t the only one that could disappoint. NYSC plugs too can disappoint.
Next week Monday came and guess where I was posted to?
