EZEAGU STREAM, NOT WATERFALL

EZEAGU STREAM, NOT WATERFALL

The Adventures of Zoba pivoted towards Ezeagu Local Government in search of the much talked about Ezeagu Waterfall.

Joining other tourism enthusiasts, we arrived Ihuezi Village in Obunofia Ndiuno Community of Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State.

After long minutes of deliberations with some community youths who wanted to charge us more than the usual access fee because of the number of cars we came with, we were able to gain access to the wonderful works of nature.

What I believe to be a waterfall was actually a peaceful clean body of water flowing out of a cave, forming chains of less than 5 ft Deep pools before meeting a rough edged rock formation that makes it turn a bit violent while thundering down.

The point where the river meets the rock formation gives off a spark of white foamy rage that is an absolute beauty 😍 to behold.

The pools formed made swimming 🏊 as desirable as a Christian desires heaven.

One other thing that makes the pools too awesome to resist is the duality of the temperature of the pool.

While some parts were chilled, some were warm, giving a pleasurable effect on the body.

While I wasn’t so pleased with the fact that it was actually a stream not a wonderful, I wouldn’t deny that the experience in the EZEAGU STREAM is something I would love to have a thousand times more.
