Obi, Wike and Balance of Terror

Peter Obi annoyed a lot of people yesterday after Gov. Alia's people blocked him from entering Benue State.

People said that he is not ready for the election because he couldn't match violence with violence.

They said that a gentleman cannot win Tinubu or any other candidate for that matter in a Presidential Election.

That to win, you must be ready to unleash your terror, match violence with violence and force with force.

They called it BALANCE OF TERROR.

They were of the opinion that if it were Nyesom Wike, he would have bulldozed his way into Benue and nothing would happen.

They're right.

Bayelsa and Rivers State Governors once said that Wike shouldn't enter their States for his Ijaw rally.

Wike bulldozed his way into those States even with militants, police, soldiers, etc threatening to unleash mayhem and even blocked his way.

He entered and stood on the stage to sing WHO THEM BE? HOW MANY THEM DEY?

It wasn't the first time Wike did something like that. He fought dirty with PDP Governors and chased all of them out of PDP.

He fought with President Buhari, Amaechi and many others. He was even carrying cutlass at functions those days under Buhari.

That is Wike for you.

He is direct, as he is effective and has never really pretended.

On the other hand...

The same people that are angry with Peter Obi for being a peaceful Gentleman, were the same people attacking Nyesom Wike few days ago for not being a Gentleman.

They were attacking for giving Rotimi Amaechi a dose of his own medicine by disrupting Amaechi's mother's burial with Rallies and Verbal attacks.

The same Amaechi that sent soldiers to Rivers during the 2019 Gubernatorial election, leading to all out violence that claimed several lives, some of which, were people's mothers as well.

But the same people that want a Gentle Peter Obi to become a Confrontational Wike...

Are the same people that want a Confrontational Wike to become a Gentle Peter Obi.

What exactly is wrong with you people?

Do you want Wike or Obi?

If you want someone who is Okay with using Violence and any means necessary to win an election, someone who does not have principles, honour and prestige to protect, then you already have that in Tinubu.

But if you want a well behaved principled gentleman, with honour, dignity and respect, then you have to go with Peter Obi and his way.

If you want violence, you go for violence.

If you want Gentility, you go for Gentility.

There's no Gentle Violence anywhere on earth.

No one who is willing to see innocent people die for his ambition, can make the country better.

Choose today, whom you want to follow his path.

You are either Wike or you are Obi.

You can't be Wike-Obi or Obi-Wike
